Reflection: 5 months of writing a blog

Today 152 days of writing a blog are over. I already reached more than a third of my goal. This means, now it is time again to do my monthly reflection of writing a daily blog.

The last month was interesting. Mainly, because there was a chance to get back with my ex-girlfriend. I don’t yet want to write about everything, but it suffices to say that my mind was working extra hours. It was also an experimental phase. I was closely observing myself how I deal with the situation and I was and still am quite content how I handled everything.

With my blog, I was trying not to think so much about her and the situation and I think this was a good decision. I might decide differently in the future, but for me, right now, it was a good thing not to write about it.

150 days and it feels as if I wrote only a handful or articles. Slowly, but surely, I need to check what I have written in the past not to repeat myself to much. There is one series, I’d like to write more about. Well actually two, but I started to write more about the future of work already. I’d like to continue with the series A colorful tale. I have some ideas, but I didn’t have the time to really develop the world as I want it to. Reading the likes of The Name of the Wind or The Wise Man’s Fear by Patrick Rothfuss and then sitting down myself to write a fantasy story is a humbling experience. All those little details, like languages, places, histories, characters and so on, are like stories of themselves. And everything needs to be interconnected. Maybe I will find some time for it during my vacation.

I hope you are still enjoying the articles, or some of them =)

If you want to give me feedback or say anything else, let me know in the comments below.

Have a wonderful day and take care!

    1. Thanks a lot Caroline! It is a good way to process my thoughts and to remind myself, too as it is easy to forget the insights I have from time to time =)
